How does a ticket go from £1 to £110 in 3 easy stages?

1) Initial price of £1 + £38 taxes and handling costs.

2) £39 + £10 for check-in luggage. (1 suitcase.)

3) £49 + £90 for 5 kilos above the allowed limit of 15kg.

That makes £139. And if you don’t pay you don’t fly.

But wait that’s not all.

A coffee on board costs £4 which doesn’t include milk and/or sugar. Which when you think about it is £3 more than the cost of the ticket.

So damn you Ryaniar, Irish government, British government and European Common Market.

But of course this is just another step in reducing us to meeker and milder sheep who never bleat and whimper.

Leading eventually again to cheap labour and a source of healthy valuable babies to sell to the highest bidder.
